You’ll need: A mixer,rolling pin, vanilla paste, cookie cutters, all natural vegetable dye food coloring (I used this powdered coloring made with greens) and cookie sheets. If you wish to make this recipe gluten free I like to recommend Gluten Free Jovial Pastry Flour (affiliate hyperlinks)

Conventional sugar cookies, reduce with cookie cutters and iced with naturally coloured frosting.

For Cookies:

  • 2
    sifted flour
  • 1 1/2
    baking powder
  • 1/2
  • 1/2
    room temp

For Icing:

  • 4
    powdered sugar
  • 1/2
    butter softened
  • 6
    milk or vanilla almond milk

For Cookies:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

Cookie Directions:

  1. Sift collectively flour, baking powder and salt, put aside.

  2. In a mixer, cream butter and sugar. Add egg, vanilla, and milk or cream.

  3. Add sifted dry elements progressively till dough is stiff sufficient to deal with.

  4. Kind right into a ball, wrap in plastic.

  5. Roll 1/4 inch thick on evenly floured board and reduce with cookie cutters.
